Help and frequently asked questions

I seem to find it more difficult to see things in low light compared with other people. Am I imagining things?

This is not uncommon. In low light levels the pupil of the eye becomes larger and this can emphasise any underlying small errors in focussing causing a blur. Occasionally more serious conditions may cause problems with night vision, so you should book an eye examination with an optician and tell them your symptoms. They will give your eyes a thorough health check and find out whether you would benefit from spectacles or whether your existing prescription needs amending.
