As a health care provider, we always strive to deliver the highest clinical and hygiene standards, including regular handwashing and cleaning equipment between customers. But, given the threat we are all facing from COVID-19, we have bought in some new measures to try and combat the spread of the virus:
- We’re asking anyone with flu-like symptoms not to visit us. When our customers are feeling better, we’ll help them rebook their appointment and look forward to welcoming them back in-store
- We’ve made hand sanitisers available to colleagues and customers in our stores
- When our colleagues are helping customers choose frames, they’ll wipe each frame with an anti-bacterial wipe before they are tried on
- Frames will also be cleaned at regular intervals during the day
- Where possible, stores are being re-arranged to make sure there is less close contact between customers. This may mean the chairs in our waiting areas are spaced further apart than normal or every other desk will be left free when measuring and fitting glasses for our customer
- We also take great care to ensure we meet a high standard of hygiene within our test rooms
“This is a challenging time and we’re committed to doing everything we can to make sure we can continue to deliver a safe and reassuring service and experience for all customers in our stores.”
